What is the natural logarithm of 1?

What is the natural logarithm of one.

ln(1) = ?

The natural logarithm of a number x is defined as the base e logarithm of x:

ln(x) = loge(x)

So

ln(1) = loge(1)

Which is the number we should raise e to get 1.

e0 = 1

So the natural logarithm of one is zero:

ln(1) = loge(1) = 0
